Rahab Waterlow

Rahab Waterlow, Co-Founder and Registered Manager, is an Adult Registered Nurse and a BABICM Registered Practitioner, holding a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Adult Nursing from the University of Suffolk. She has worked extensively in various NHS fields, most recently in Intensive Care. Drawing upon her skills, she expanded into paediatric care, working for several care agencies in service users’ homes. Rahab has also served as a case assessor for care agencies, developing comprehensive care plans for clients with diverse and complex healthcare conditions. As a Registered Manager with the Care Quality Commission, she meticulously oversees the delivery of domiciliary care.

Rahab’s primary goal is to provide the highest level of individualized care, prioritizing the quality and safety of her clients. She possesses exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, which she utilizes in planning and managing care delivery, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans that address clients’ physical, emotional, and social needs. Her practice emphasizes a person-centred focus, crucial for modern nursing, with the aim of achieving maximum quality of life, often incorporating suitable therapies and leisure activities.

Rahab also has experience in managing budgets, meticulously tracking spending, setting financial goals, and planning for optimal resource use. Personally, Rahab enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and has volunteered as a nurse in Kenya, which enriched her understanding of healthcare challenges in underserved populations and reinforced her commitment to nursing.
